Lucile Morris Upton Digital Collection
Our launch party at Springfield-Greene County’s Library Center was a marvelous gathering of people who had known Lucile Morris Upton, read her long-running “Good Old Days” column, or knew about her and wanted to learn more. We even had a cake!
Besides officially launching the book, though, the library announced the digitization of the Lucile Morris Upton (LMU) Digital Collection, which includes her personal letters, texts of speeches, family photos and a vast amount of other information about the Ozarks and other writers of her era.
